Basket Strainer Drain

This procedure will assist you with installing the Sinkology Basket Strainer Drain.

You Will Need: Plumbers Putty

Sinkology Basket Strainers are designed for use when your sink is not connected to a garbage disposal. If you have questions regarding Drains, please contact customerservice@sinkology.com for assistance.

Instructions:

1. Remove the Strainer from the Basket Strainer Drain Assembly. Unscrew the Nut and the Large Metal Nut from the bottom of the Drain Assembly. Remove the Flat Washer and the Rubber Washer.
2. Apply Plumbers Putty around the underside of the outer Drain flange lip.
3. Place the Basket Strainer Drain in the drain hole of the Sink. The metal flange will sit directly on the Sink.
4. Place the Nut on the Drain Pipe.
5. Place the Rubber Washer and the Flat Washer on the Basket Strainer Drain and screw on the Large Metal Nut.
6. Secure the Drain Pipe to the Basket Strainer Drain using the Nut.
7. Clean off any excess Plumbers Putty.
8. Place the Strainer in the Basket Strainer Drain.

Congratulations, this completes the installation of the Sinkology Strainer Drain.

Kitchen Sink Disposal Drain

This procedure will assist you with installing the Sinkology Disposal Drain.

You Will Need: Plumbers Putty

Sinkology Disposal Flanges are designed for use only with garbage disposals. If you have questions regarding Drains, please contact customerservice@sinkology.com for assistance.

Instructions:

1. Apply Plumbers Putty around the underside of the outer Drain flange lip.
2. Place the Disposal Drain in the drain hole of the Sink. The metal flange will sit directly on the Sink.
3. Clean off any excess Plumbers Putty.
4. Place the Strainer in the Disposal Drain.
5. Follow installation instructions included with your purchased disposal to complete the installation of the Disposal Drain.
