Stylish and Stunning Kitchen Renovation Featuring the Josephine Fireclay Sink
Our friend Heather from Interior Swag is used to transforming spaces through exquisite design. She recently added the Josephine QuickFit Drop-In Fireclay Sink to her kitchen. Follow along as she shares her progress.
With school starting back next week, our home renovation could not have finished at a better time. I am so thankful to have our kitchen back! If you have been through a recent renovation, you know what I am talking about. I have missed organization, the kids being on a schedule, and our family time. Here is a good before shot of our kitchen when we moved in:
Our kitchen is one of the reasons we love this home. We love that it opens up to our dining area. When we started our renovation, one of my must have items was an apron front sink. I found the Josephine drop-in all in one sink set by Sinkology. The set came with a stainless Pfister faucet, the stainless bottom grid, the drain, careIQ set, and scrubber. You can view the set HERE. All Sinkology sinks are guaranteed not to chip, crack, stain, or rust. Sinkology backs their promise with their exclusive Everyday Promise Lifetime Warranty. I love the versatility of this sink because you can install as a drop-in onto existing counters or you can under-mount it. Since we installed beautiful new quartz counters, we decided to under mount the sink. I went from a standard size double basin to this style. It can replace your standard double basin sink and it installs so easy. You can literally, pull out your existing sink and drop this one in! I took a photo of the braces the guys built to hold the sink in place.
Our contractor said “This was the easiest farmhouse style sink we have installed. On most installations you have to re-work the cabinet below. I would recommend this product to any of my clients wanting a farmhouse style sink. ” In our case it was a perfect fit and he did not have to cut the doors down.
I don’t know what it is about leaving the tough stuff to the pro’s but they made the install look so easy! We used a contractor for the install, however a DIY’er could handle this project with ease!
Can I talk about my new stainless Pfister faucet? I love the sleek modern feel of the one handle style. I love that Pfister stands behind their products with their never leak guarantee! This set is available through The Home Depot. In addition to the set, we got the GridLogic kitchen sink organizer. I was nervous about going from a double basin to one huge sink, but this system makes it easy to hand wash dishes and dry directly on the plate rack.
I love how deep the sink is! It hides my mess easier than our double basin!
